Starvation in Africa

The starvation of millions of Africa’s brothers and sisters has come to a situation where enough is enough. People, the population is dying from the food shortage, not eating for days, weeks, even months at a time. Thousands of southern Africans- many of them children- have succumbed to hunger-related causes because of a food shortage. The population is dying and we America are doing nothing. As America we are one of the wealthiest countries and we sit and let this occasion take place. An Associated Press reporter describes the ways the children have been acting after a series of weeks without eating. Also the UNDP Human Development Index it was acknowledged that one quarter of children don not live pass to see their fifth birthday. That is gloomy, there has to be something done to keep this from happening.
